CHESHIRE CAT

SCHOOL PROJECT • 2022

“Cheshire Cat” is a 4th year project. The theme was “fairy tale monsters”. I chose to represent the Cheshire cat in my own way because it is a character that I find aesthetically very interesting.

During this project, I obviously created the image entirely, from concept to final result. It's an exercise that taught me a lot, particularly in terms of clothing simulation and surfacing. I only have one regret regarding the groom that I was not able to provide as I wanted with Yeti.

Improve my modeling, surfacing, composition and lighting

• Groom ► Now I work on Houdini, which is way better than Yeti in my opinion)

• Lighting ► Even if I like my lighting on this project, I think that I can enhance better my image

• Modeling & Proportions ► Even if this is a monster, I have to enhance my proportions with more references and my modeling

• Surfacing ► I really love surfacing, but I am conviced that I can do better than this project in the future to make my projects more credibles
